SCit: 10 years of innovation
SCit was founded in 2000 to offer innovative solutions for achieving increasingly more ambitious objectives.
Established in the heart of the Jura region, we develop high-performance composite solutions for the aeronautics industry.
We are also active in the luxury goods sector (luggage, wood and carbon spectacle arms...) and the sportssector (carbon bicycle wheels).
In 2009, SCit originated the patent for the X1000 “full carbon” wheel, now marketed by Aerozenith. At only 1kg for a pair, this wheel is often considered to be the best in the world!
For over 10 years, the policy of personnel training and investment in the company’s industrial equipment has enabled our regular and continuous development. Our workforce has increased from 7 to 60 and our turnover has increased 10-fold.
Major players in the composite materials conversion industry, we joined the other subsidiaries of REX COMPOSITES in 2010 in the proposed REXIAA Group.
From wood to high-performance composites
In 2000, SCit took over the operation of the Cuty-Fort company, which specialised in machining and veneering precious woods.
Very quickly, our Composites department benefited from most of the investments in personnel (training) and equipment (heating presses, CNC machining centres, water jet cutting machines...).
The cutting-edge know-how of the Jura region combined with the technologies of the REXIAA Group have enabled SCit to become a partner of the most prestigious customers in the aeronautics, luxury goods, sports and leisure sectors.
